Audi Prologue Avant
Audi showed up last year at the LA Auto show with the Prologue Coupe
demonstrating its vision for future Audi’s. For the Geneva Motor Show, Audi is taking
the Audi Prologue in the Avant form.  Well known for making some of the best looking
and best performing wagons, or Avant as Audi likes to call them; this new Avant show
car takes the same ideals and once again demonstrates that Audi wagons are very
sporty, elegant and practical.

This new interpretation of the Avant philosophy uses a hybrid drivetrain that
produces 455 hp and 553.2 lb-ft of torque.  The Avant show car is equipped with the
plug-in hybrid drive straight out of the Q7 e-tron Quattro.  The 3.0 TDI engine and an
electric motor allow the car to sprint to 60 mph in five seconds while being capable of
a purely electric range of 33.6 miles.

The five-door car is very sporty but it’s also a big luxurious wagon.  Measuring 5.11
meters (16.8 ft) in length and 1.97 meters (6.5 ft) wide, the large car with its
stretched roof is very practical as well.  Expect future production Audis to look very
similar to this show car.
